| | | More 'Weird Sisters' members revealed for GoF
The former lead singer of the band 'Pulp', Jarvis Cocker, recently spoke to a magazine, Planet Sound, about his involvement in the fourth Potter film, ' Goblet of Fire.' Quote:
"I was asked to write songs for the film, and a friend I did a Pulp song with a few years ago is arranging the orchestral score. "As I’m doing the music, I’m in a scene singing for a band called the Weird Sisters. There’s six of us – me, three other blokes from Relaxed Muscle and Johnny and Phil from Radiohead."
Thanks to The Snitch for the quote and Mugglenet for the tip! |

Hmm..I'm not a fan of Pulp or Radiohead, and I've never heard of Relaxed Muscle. I wonder if one of them'll still play bagpipes?

They have a mix. lol
This is gonna be one wicked Rock & Roll!!!!
lol don't worry Eoywn Weasley. When I first read the book, I thought they were girls as well. but I guess 'Weird Brothers' sounds abit...not so very intriguing.

| Sounds cool! Lets hope that a good job is made. But I'm a bit unsure about some people from Radiohead being in it. I find their music rather depressing. No offense to the people that do like them. But I suppose everyone in it does fill the Wierd catagory, hence the name, I mean I dont think that Jarvis Cocker is entirely that sane. I mean I think he did Stars in their Eyes (its a british show so most of you wont know it) and he did Rolf Harris but I suppose that he must be alright cause I think he also won it. Oh Well! |

Hopefully the music will be good, but I imagine that the Yule Ball will only be a small part of the film and it won't matter that much anyway!

| Moo Spork? SPORKY SPORKY!!
^ Go gender-confused band names!!! I like Radiohead so it can't be too bad, but I've never heard of Pulp so it could be weird. I just hope the music all together is good!!

In canon the 'Weird Sisters' have more male members than female anyways!
I don't think they're usual style of music matters because they'll be working to the genre of music that the 'Weird Sisters' will have played, not their own styles. Like he said, orchestral. Quote:

Very true. It's only a decoration, it doesn't move the plot forward at all. It's like Quidditch in that respect.
