| | | More on the Ralph Fiennes/Voldemort Rumor - another Brit Newspaper reports Summary:
This time the Daily Mirror has claimed that Raplh Fiennes is in talks with WB Producers to play Voldemort. Article: More on the Ralph Fiennes/Voldemort Rumor
According to London's Daily Mirror, producers are in talks with Ralph Fiennes to play You-Know-Who once the actor wraps up filming The Constant Gardener opposite Rachel Weisz, currently shooting in Kenya. Filmography Pictures Fiennes isn't sure he wants to commit to at least three additional movies, which will likely feature Voldemort. But if all goes accordingly, Fiennes could be on the Leavesden set by the end of the year.
Basically, we still have no confirmation on this rumor but it does look as if he's one of the actors in talks about the role. I would like to note, though, that the Daily Mirror is a British tabloid newspaper.

| He looks good for the role, but I'd prefer Jeremy Irons over him. But I guess I'll just have to wait and (if he does take the role) see just how he is. |

| I hope he gets the part. He's an amazing actor. I loved him in Wurthering Hights and the English Patient.
Jeremy Irons would be good, too. You're right about that. |

| Wow, I hope these rumors are true. I think Fiennes would be fantastic! Really great, he can play really evil characters, pretty well. I think it would be a good move for him. But, Jude law I think would be good too, Tom riddle looks sooo similar to him it's crazy lol. either way it's cool. |

| It will be interesting to see how they make Voldemort look with whoever they pick.
I just watched the Buffy vs. Dracula show and think that Rudolph Martin would be a good choice ... looks are similar to Christian ... and he really had a way of giving you the creeps playing Dracula, attractive but scary!
He also did a TV dracula movie and he was born in Germany... possible?! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Actually Voldemort isn't supposed to resemble Tom in the slightest. I remember, after his transformations, in effort to try and be immortal, Dumbledore said he looked far from human and was unrecognisable. |

| As long as he portrays Voldemort well I'm all for him. Besides, with makeup and costume I'm sure anyone could 'look' like Voldemort...'act' like Voldemort however...
I just hope whoever they choose will scare the pants off me! |

| I was really bummed when Warner Bros. said they hadn't casted anyone for Voldermort yet...*shudders*...oops, I mean "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named". Well anyways, I should've imagined that it wouldn't take long until they did cast some one. I think the guy they chose isn't bad for the part. Although he looks too much of a good person to act as a bad character. But since he's a good actor, it'll be alright. |
