We previously pointed out an interview in which Gary Oldman (Sirius Black) confirmed that his role in ' Goblet of Fire' was 'tiny'. MTV Movie news has some further information on the subject matter. Quote:
Those who remember Gary Oldman's mischievous Sirius Black as the best part of the last film, however, might be a bit disappointed by the direction in which his character will head this time around.
"Well," Oldman smiled, "head is the operative word. I appear in the embers of the fire to warn Harry about Voldemort. I'm in it for 45 seconds. Just a head — that's all they filmed."
Smiling at the oddity of his cameo, he added, "I flew the head to London." ...

I agree.  I don't know much about Gary Oldman, but it's nice to see that the cast as Sirius is at least in some way like Sirius, and not a complete schmuck.

You really get a better...umm...View of Sirius whan you read the book. But it is ashame how they only filmed 45 seconds!!! It aint much is it. He is one of the main characteds afterall. Well we'll just heve to hope for the next one!!

Well, there`s the scene, in which Sirius appears in the fire, than we have the nice little chat in the cave, where Sirius hides himself, and especially the scene, where "Animagus-Sirius" is "introduced" to Snape and they are forced to shake hands ---ok, it`s not very much, but at least the could have shown Snape and sirius. Would have been a funny scene, wouldn`t it?
