More about Rupert Grint and the possibility of being Tin Tin Article:
Thanks to Wizardnews
Moviehole reports that there are actually two “Tintin” films potentially in the works. Aside from Steven Spielberg’s planned project, last year's Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski is also purportedly interested in trying to bring the European adventurer to the big screen. Polanski is apparently eyeing the “Tintin in Tibet” comic to be used as the film's storyline.
Spielberg's version though is ahead and currently undergoing casting considerations. Two names being branded about are Rupert Grint ("Harry Potter") and Jamie Bell ("Billy Elliot"). Bell is said to be a favourite choice of the director, but “since he only wants to do just one film, not two or more, Rupert Grint was then mentioned”. |

Even if Rupert agrees to be Tintin, I wonder how he will get the time.
He will be working all through the year, going for the HP shooting and then running to the 'Tintin' set.
I stilll think this is a rumor, just like the 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' one.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine
I reckon Jamie Bell would do a better job. Rupert Grint was probably only mentioned because of his appropriate hair colour.

I don't know who that other kid is, but I think Rupert would be good as Tintin. Well, whoever plays the part, I am sure that it will be a wonderful movie. |

I want Rupert Grint to get the part. He's such a good actor.
And my brother will kill the producers and swear to God not to read Tin Tin again if they won't cast Rupert in the films.
Yes he's THAT big of a fan of Rupert.
