I dont like the way they suck up to the Japanese fans. "The Japanese Harry Potter fans are the number one fans in the world!" LOL That was funny, but then I had heard that over there the pop culture is huge. Is that true? Because I know some small time British music groups were unsuccessful here but phenomenal over there.
Japanese coming out of Emma Watson sounds so natural it seems sort of scary.
There are alot of awkward silences what with the translator and Dan having to figure out what exactly the question means (alot of them are extremely vague).
Rupert sounded like he had fallen asleep and just woken up when someone asked him a question, bless.
The language barrier causes alot of problems with what the questions are asking for in the answers.
Beware, over-use of the phrase "Urm".
Rupert - "The essay might've been useful but I didn't do it sooo..." LOL
Dan - "The essay wasn't much help....because it wasn't much..."
And now suddenly Emma wrote 65 pages in that infamous essay. She's right, the number does get bigger everytime.

Wow, Marcella you are soo right! Could they, cast and people asking questions in the audience, have said umm any more times? It made up probably a good third of the interview, lol. But still fun! Rupert is so funny, his answers are always short and sweet, with either wicked or cool |

I think the "urms" were a result of the awkward language barrier.

Why do they think that japaneese fans are number one HP fans in the world?then what are we?I think they are only telling that because HP movies collection is good there.COS was the highest viewing movie in Japan in 2002.Now they want to make POA a big hit there.

i completely agree with you Emma, I hate when they suck up to the Japanese and say they are the number one Harry Potter fans in the world-thats not true. Just because COS was the biggest hit for them doesn't mean they are the biggest Harry Potter fans-people from all over the world are Harry Potter fans--every country has people who are the biggest Harry Potter fans-its not just the Japanese.
and Emma did say um, a lot and compliment Dan, but I loved how she spoke Japanese--and Emma always seems so mature and intelligent with her answers-i love Emma-she's so cool!! girl power!!! and of course Dan is always the hottest person alive so, he was adorable answering those questions.
lol Rupert did seem like he was falling asleep- i was too during the Japanese parts-i don't blame him!
cool press conference! thanks!

| japs r really crazy over harry potter, note that...but i don't think they're no. 1  .....i read in papers that emma was greeted by over 600 fans while rupert has only round 150 fans...... :/ i'm not sure wether its true but i really think emma has done a great job by starting her speech with 'konnichiwa'.....cheers! |
