| | | More HBP scams
A suspicious email is doing the rounds claiming to be from 'Voldemort'. It also claims that if you follow a number of steps, you can receive Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for free.
It's not quite clear whether this means free on the day of release or whether it is claiming to give you the book early, as it says you'll have it 'first'.
Either way, please don't believe it. Ignore and delete it, if you receive any email that sounds anything like this.
This is the type of scam which makes false claims while making you spend money before even getting to the prize.
Jo Rowling herself warned us of these sorts of scams, so please, do not listen to them. You will not receive book six by following their steps.

Good golly. I wonder why people would do such a thing. No one in their right mind would want to spend hundreds of dollars to buy many of them on a particular book just give away for free to unknown people. It's a good thing that I tend to be very cautious, and yet curious.

Who would trust something from Voldemort anyway?

Poor JK. First people try to scam other people using her book, and then people actually want to book for free instead of giving her the money for the soon-to-be fabulous book.
