We previously informed you that speculation had arisen due to the appearance of a key on a promotional banner for ' Half-Blood Prince' at Borders Bookstores.

Hmm... It's not an ordinary key to say the least. Sort of like an old castle or manor key. But you never know. It could open a chest or a drawer or something similar to that.

on www.jkrowling.com there are a ton of keys in different places, also could it have to do with the key in the first book, i know, it's pretty far fetched.

The promotional material isn't made by Borders though, is it? I thought it was provided by the publishers seeing as they'd want control over what sort of things are printed in relation to HBP.

the handle looks like a heart, and I think I read somewhere, that it was thought that Love was what was being studied behind the locked door in the Department of Mysteries. hmmm just maybe.... don't know.... well at least I have somthing to ponder on : ) more theories. hehehe
