MTV has a new interview with Brendan Gleeson (Mad-Eye Moody) and Colin Farrell, promoting In Bruges at the Sundance Festival, wherein Gleeson mentions he won't be in Half-Blood Prince and Farrell says he would like a role in the last film. The video interview can be seen here.

Awww, that's a shame--Moody is a great character, and Brendan plays him well. 
Perhaps... but if they cut Fenrir out completely, I'm going to be really disappointed.

Yeah, like some have said, I don't remember any scenes in HBP with Moody, so that must mean he doesn't play such a major role in this one... this one is about Dumbledore-Snape... not such a disaster, they have to cut stuff otherwise we'd have movies that'd take a week or more to see! lol
And I did like the idea of Collin Farrell playing Fenrir... I think he'd be great.

I was just wondering if Mad Eye had a big part in book 6. It's ok if he's not in it.
BUT I DO NOT want Colin Farrell in HP6. 
I'd like for the casting to stick to mostly unknowns and british actors. To put a hugely popular actor like Colin in there would ruin the movie...
