The Scotsman is reporting that JKR might consider including bookmarks with a photograph of the missing child Madeleine McCann in the last installment of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in an effort to bring more attention to the child's plight. The father of the child, Mr. Gerry McCann had this to say:
Quote:
There has been some indirect contact with her. We are thinking about getting bookmarks with Madeleine's photographs and getting the author's agreement.
Someone like JK Rowling has got massive appeal and a Harry Potter book would be ideal.
As
we reported previously, JKR had made a substantial contribution to the reward fund for the young Scottish girl who was abducted while on holiday with her parents in Portugal.
