I like Radiohead very much, so...never heard of McFly, but I suppose Ukraine is a little bit behind about these things and that doesn`t matter. I haven`t heard of them, but I think they`re rather cool, and I`m going to learn about them more. Though they look like classic pop-punks *chuckles*

Well everyone has there own opinion and if Dan does not like them he has every right to say what is on his mind. And McFly has every right to be mad at whatever Dan has said to offend them. But I think it is all childish games. But that is my opinion.

Reading back over what Dan said he did seem to be quite rude about the whole thing; he kept calling his music "the right music" as if anyone who dared to like any other music wasn't entitled to. I love Dan and all, but he needs to be a little more open-minded about music and clue into the fact that yes, other people may like music that he thinks is rubbish, but that doesn't make his music anymore "right" than theirs.

But McFly were equally unprofessional to be rude about such a popular figure, so I guess it's all quits.

I agree with everyone else I mean even though Dan didn't like the band which I didn't really like either... lol it wasn't smart of him to SAY it you know just keep it to himself... but did McFly really say those things?

Never heard of McFly...but I've heard of&seen plenty of Daniel Radcliffe ! Really,somebody's all twisted ! Dan's played about three characters if I'm correct (that includes HP,young David Copperfield,Mark from "The Tailor of Panama") and most recently Maps in December Boys....so I think it's clear whose got their facts wrong. Besides,Dan has the right to express his opinion freely just like they do....but I hope when they do meet each other (if they do) nothing physical erupts.

Never heard about this before. Quick question though, the comment on actors play more than one character, Was Dan actually an actor before this?? I thought they chose him for his looks mostly to match the character Harry. Besides its not like he has time to do other movies while doing everything for the Potter films.

That was kind of harsh, on both parts. I don't particularly like McFly, but I have seen them live and they were pretty good. They do play all their own instruments... well, most. And Daniel Radcliffe isn't the greatest actor, but he is improving.

Oh please...I hate when bands act like this. I understand that it struck a chord, but they could act a bit more mature and not throw back insults like a bunch of little kids. It's just one person's opinion....but granet Dan really should learn to keep his mouth shut about things like that. He's a celebrity....things travel fast and get taken the wrong way easily.

But this is really not surprising anymore. McFly is not the only band dan has slagged off. Even the great Green Day has taken flak from him. And Green Day have done their own retaliation on him in this interview--

I'm not a danfan, but I dont hate him either -- so you must agree that people would be doing him more favor by saying he should stop this "better than you" attitude. Its constructive criticism for him... as the cliche goes "you have to be cruel, to be kind."

McFly should really get over themselves, they are older than him. the only people who semm to like them are the under13s and the crowds of girls that fancy them. Any one who can play an instrument or like the kind of music Dan likes thinks bands like mcfly busted and son of dork are incredibly fake
