Dan Radcliffe has previously made some scathing remarks about McFly.
The boys from the band did some guest editing for The Mirror newspaper recently and in the process, responded to the remarks Dan made about them. Quote:
Bass player Dougie, 18, went for the jugular with Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe. "I've never met him but if I did I'd throw a bag of [censored] over his head.
"He's slagged us off in interviews - we've never met him, so I don't know where it's coming from," he added.
"He's going to be embarrassed when he does meet us."
Guitarist Tom chipped in with: "It's happened to us when we've slagged off people we haven't met and when we do meet them we just feel stupid - that's how we want him to feel.
"He said about us: 'I know bands who can actually play their instruments and who write their songs.' Well, we know actors who play more than one character. He's got his facts wrong."
We take it Daniel won't be buying McFly's latest single, the rocking Ultraviolet/Ballad Of PaulK then, which is out now...

well...that wasn't very smart of Dan....but what McFly said was really rude. People can have their own opinions; so they just need to get over it. Oh! and Dan has played more than one charecter.

Yea.. that wasn't very smart of Dan. But the others of that band were pretty rude about what they said.

I'm actually for McFly! I love Dan and everything but it's outta line to go on about other people specifically (rather than pop music as a whole!) McFly are great ... I don't love em but they enjoy what they do obviously and have tons of fans so what's the matter with that!
He keeps going on about Pop but it's getting a bit wearing! It was a shocker at first but now i'm starting to think I should expect it every now and again!
I do think Dan should try to be a bit more open minded about things like this! Really I think it's about the only immature thing about him I think!
Like it said in the quote from the McFly blokie maybe he should make judgements after meeting them! It's like the Kelly Osbourne and Christina Agulera (Don't know if I spelt her name OK?)

Ooh... Not a particularily smart move from Daniels side. Seriously, slagging people off like that to the press will have consequences... But who cares?! Death over the high school poprock! (please don't take this too personally, anyone!) It can be a sincere source of nagging... Never mind that, I'm not too good with phrasing at this time of the day. But whatever there really could be deciphered from that, I surely meant it.

That's the intended joke. He got them wrong so they're deliberately getting him wrong.
The way I see it, it's all about karma. Saying something unkind about someone in the media, especially when you're such a high-profile individual, will always come back to bite you back in the rear.
