| | |  Maudsley to Play Grawp in OotP: Confirmed
Actor Tony Maudsley has been confirmed to play Hagrid's half-brother, the reckless giant Grawp, in the upcoming 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' film. While producer David Heyman had confirmed that Grawp would play a role in the film, the actor portraying him had yet to been named. The Leaky Cauldron, which confirmed his role with Warner Bros, has speculated on how exactly the giant will appear. Quote:
We don't yet know if this is a fully-CGI'd role or not; it's very likely there will be a lot of computer animation involved, as Grawp exists on a higher altitude than all characters. We only now know it's not a complete voiceover, or he wouldn't be needed in the studios...
However this misunderstood giant is portrayed in the film, we would like to wish Maudsley the very best of luck with filming.
