i think its betta for the book texts to be without pictures as it lets you create you own picture of what is going on.
plus its always entertaining to see how your own perception matches that of pictures you find after you have done some reading.
take the penesieve picture on this page. its so uncanny how much it is like my imagination! |

I personally like the pictures and enjoy looking at her work. I'm definitely going to have to go out and get a calendar when they come out! I don't think it really effects your imagination (that's what the movies are for ) when reading the story-- I know I read the US editions and I had no trouble creating my own mental images.... *shrugs* I guess it's what you're used to.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Ottery St. Catchpole Third Year | Unless I win the lottery then all bets are off...mwahahaha Oh wait I don't play Paris is ♥♥♥ Gone With the Wind When the first one was loading on the computer I would have sworn that was the wicked witch of the west taking a bath in a tub...and melting...seriously. I don't like how she made Harry look there but the illustration itself and the idea are cool. The second one though...that was perfect...love the way Harry looks and the colors she uses...she's very creative. But I'm not buying them until next year when they're on sale...*Ottery's Poor* |
