| | |  March 7th: 'Goblet of Fire' DVD release?
Previous rumours have suggested that the ' Goblet of Fire' DVD may be released on April 4th. New rumours now suggest a much earlier date: March 7th 2006.
In particular, one of the sources, Video ETA, has listed the following as features of the DVD: Quote: |
"deleted scenes, behind the scenes featurettes, set top games and activities-including the Triwizard Tournament Challenge-and more."
| So far, in regards to content, all we've officially heard is that: Quote:
Mike Newell said: "Jarvis Cocker and Radiohead play songs which are short in the film, but are in full on the DVD."
He added: "I've done a director's commentary, of course."
David also revealed: "There will be some deleted scenes, how we did certain things, how the effects were done and behind the scenes interviews - probably greater access that we've ever had before."
Asked whether there might be new DVDs of the previous films with commentaries by the other directors, he said: "I think that is something we can look forward to in years to come.
"I don't think it will happen right away, but Chris [Columbus] is very keen and so is Alfonso [Cuaron]."

I would be surprised because I would think the WB would like to get as much money out of the movie from the box office as possible, however, Netflix has the release date as March 7th as well, which I found particularly odd. They're not in the habit of putting up releases dates, so I figure if they're saying March 7th, perhaps there is a chance... |

I wonder if they moved up the date because Narnia's supposed to come out in April don't they know I'll buy them both? Hello! *fires the cannons* Mwahahahahahaha
But I don't care for Director Commentary...gimme deleted scenes...and as for rereleasing the others...I'll just wait until all the movies are out and buy the super deluxe edition...I mean they come out with new versions of DVD's every week now  .
They should come with Ottery Commentary...

The sooner the better! Actually the movies already leaked on the internet and it made me sad to see. But Im a loyal fan/customer and I'll wait as long as it takes for the OFFICIAL release of the DVD. Matter of fact...isnt there supposed to be a DVD collection? (little rumor?) It'll be cool to see the deleted scenes,hear the band rock out and the director's commentary...Mike's cool! (I'd also look forward to Alphonso's commentary..I thought he worked well with the cast and I'll be interested in what he's got to say.) | |

I think it will be out in April cause the 1st (i think) and the second came to dvd in April when they came out in theaters in november. well i kno the 2nd was b/c i was made that it came out two days before my birthday. | |
