You may have recently heard a rumour which states that Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes (or Lola), had been approached to play a part in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
This rumour has been declined by Warner Brothers; Lola will not star in the movie.

^^ I have to agree. It wouldn't be fair to all those who waited hours and hours to audition for parts [Luna, Lavender, etc.] that Lola be put in just because her Mom's famous. I know I'd be more than slightly annoyed if that happened and I had auditioned. | |

I'm relieved to know that Madonna's daughter won't be in the movie. I do agree that it's not fair to have someone in the movies just because of their connections. Though, I can see the point of having Ralph Fiennes' nephew in the movie as one of the Voldemorts because they probably have a bit of a resemblance... | |

Again, my opinion is neutral. I won't say I'm happy, and I won't say I'm sad. But all you who said that she will get into this just because her mom had a few #1 hits consider this, Shouldn't you be basing this opinion on whether she could act? I know you've never seen her, and showbiz does thrive on nepotism, but we all love the Potter movies and we want them to be in their best quality. In my opinion, even if Lindsay Lohan is a Hollywood Horror nowadays and got into the movie, I would base it on what she brings to the big screen and not her personal life or family connection. | |
