A spokesperson for WB has reitterated that there are no current plans for open castings. Quote:

Wow! Good luck to all of you who will try out. Luna is one of, if not, my favorite character. I love how she walks to her own beat and even though she knows that the school kids think she's "looney", she still believes in the unbelievable, dresses however she wants, and befriends whomever she wants. Also, she is an absolute hoot to read about.

I'm not British.. well I am, but my accent is a bit rusty, lol. I don't have blonde hair though, and no blue eyes drat. I'd go for the part of Hermione  because I look a great deal more like her, but we know that part is already taken by the lovely Emma Watson. My chances are very slim, since I don't really act either.. that could be a problem. But other than those tiny little things, I could go for it! ... Okay really, just kidding. But it would be fun to be her, in any case. I am a bit looney sometimes. Good luck to anyone who goes for it! It would be awesome if they picked someone from SS, huh?

lol awesome. good luck to em. I wonder why they make it so that its only brits that can apply that is really, really, really sucky, and unorthadox in the filming of a movie. for all I know they could search the place and cast the whole country into the films lol. ok im joking, but it does limit. It does take me back a little though knowing that all of the people in the World cup are not from around the world. that sucks.
