| so interesting..but symposium sounds soo...college lectureish dont really care for that ( cause I hear the everyday lol) ..but Im not really getting the idea of it is is a tour group? lecture series? casino themed? convention?just dose not make sense to me. also they make is seem like you have to know Alot about HP which my fam wouldnt and that then would be boring for them..unless there where like a convention..hmm well and the website isnt very jazzy for Vegas i think.. :p oh well..it is for a educational cause. |

I too, live in California, and I am about to turn eighteen in May. But it's gonna be a long ride as if I am riding a car to LA, 'bout 8 hours, including breaks. I may be wrong about the driving length....Then again, my parents probably won't let me go, even though I will become of age . My guess: loads of baddie strangers that'll do anything bad to a girl and have hostage for money, unless I travel with a friend. Still it's uncommon- but anything could happen. Traveling with a friend would definitely be safer. Or perhaps it could be the distance into an unfamiliar territory or... there maybe many other reasons I couldn't think of that my parents may have... Unless I happen to be a soon-to-be high school graduate from SF who will be attending a Las Vegas college in the fall... Unfortunately though I am not... Ah well. Really, it depends whether or not I do want to go.
added: I still think it's a good thing that I do get to go now that I will be eighteen in a month, without getting me and my parents though torture of permission forms, but my sister, who is two years younger than me will have to. To bad I'm not over twenty three to do that .
