* Lovegoods in 4th book! - The Lovegoods were mentioned in GoF

Summary:
I noticed that in the 3rd or 4th chapter of the 4th book they mention the lovegoods couldnt get tickets when they were with the portkey on top of the hill and Mr. Diggory asked if there was anyone else coming.

I thought this was neat and didnt make the connection until when the 5th book came out.

Article:

Also, I have noticed they make mistakes in the movies like at the table Hermione says to Nearly Headless Nick "Nearly Headless how can you be Nearly Headless?" when it was really in the book Seamus Finnigan who said that.

Of course I have nothing against the movies but it always bugged me when they did something like that.

I got a book called The Ultimate Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter on amazon.com. It analyzes all the books for clues. If you reread the books after reading that, you can find so many hints! I've noticed alot of times J.K.R. compared Hermione to McGonagall, maybe they're related! Why don't you think we ever found out how Fred and George knew about the score in the Quidditch World Cup(Book 4)??? Cya later!

Same thing happened in LOTR. Pippin was supposed to say "Whats the elvish word for 'friend'." Domonic even brought it up with the director, and the director said "We want more Elijah, and less you," so hence...THATS why things like that happen in movies.

it makes me mad when in movies people mess up like how is the CoS Hermione says Dumbledores line "fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself" i didn't like how hermione said that becyase it was supposed to show how wise and unafraid dumbledore was..... but o well..... waht can you do

Sorry, but you are half right and half wrong! It does say Lovegoods, but it says that they've been there for a week, it says the FAWCETTS couldn't get tickets!

I wouldn't call those changes 'mistakes'.
The movie companies wouldn't make a six hour movie, so they take out what they don't think is important enough, what won't fit in the time frame, and lines that they think a more important character should say.
They have sence of mind but it's a little wacky at times.
Although I'm quite glad that for GoF they are thinking about making it 4 hours and have an intermission in-between so they don't butcher it too much!

In the third book, Mrs. Weasley and Mr. Weasley were fighting, and Mr. Wealsey told Molly, that Harry and Ron had already been in the forest 2 times, but as far as i can remember, Rons only been in once..... and how would they know about the time they went in and met the spiders in the forest? :sorcerer:

Padfootis#1 if you read chapter 18 Dobby's reward it quotes " For nearly a quarter of an hour he spoke into rapt silence: he told them about hearing the disembodied voice, how hermione had finally realised that he was hearing the basilisk in the pipe, how he and ron followed the spiders into the forest and so on."
