[img]http://www.snitchseeker.net/images/avatar/blotts_80.jpg' align='middle'> Love Actually - Rickman and Thompson's new movie Summary:
There's a new trailer online for Alan Rickman's and Emma Thompson's upcoming movie, "Love Actually" Article:
Set in London in the weeks before Christmas, this romantic comedy stars Hugh Grant, Keira Knightly, Alan Rickman, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Laura Linney, and Liam Neeson.
"This ensemble comedy tells ten separate (but intertwining) stories of love in London (with a small portion set in France), leading up to a big climax on Christmas Eve. One of the threads follows the brand new (unmarried) Prime Minister (Grant) of the United Kingdom, who on his first day in 10 Downing Street falls in love with the girl (McCutcheon) who brings him his tea (Thompson plays his sister; Rickman plays her husband). Another story follows the relationship between a stepfather (Neeson) and his young stepson. "

| It is interesting to see the cast of Harry Potter working together. Maybe Alan Rickman was the one who recommend Thompson to play Trelawney or maybe it was just coincidence. |

| This isn't actually their first project together.
If anyone's interested, but Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman were both in 'Sense and Sensibility' a couple of years ago ,it also had the woman who played the fat lady in the first two potter movies.
My friends and I went mental when we saw it at school for English, lol, you have no idea how strange it is to see Alan Rickman as an 1800 English Gentlemen, anyway it's a good film if you like those Jane Austen set movies!
I'm really looking forward to seeing 'Love Actually' not just because of Thomson and Rickman, but because Kiera Knightly is in it, and I'm obsessed with "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Bend it like Beckham", just thought you might like to know that...lol
Hope this bit of info was interesting to you! |

| | | *lol* It's so great to hear movie news! I've watched TV about twice since I came to college so I have no idea what's going on in any world, much less the entertainment.
I've always heard great things about them working together; makes me interested in if they'll have any simultaneous airtime in PoA. | |

| I'm a major Alan Rickman fan, so afetr seeing him in other films such as Truly, Madly Deeply, Sense and Sensibility, Harry Potter etc I'm really looking forward to Love Actually! It looks really good, plus the guy who plays Nick from my family is in it too so that means it's going to be hysterical. But poor Alan! PoA and now this, doesn't he get a break, he'll have a heart attack trying to remember all those lines and dashing from set to set ! |
