Earlier this year rumours went around that Liz Hurley would play Bellatrix Lestrange in ' Order of the Phoenix'. Warner Brothers debunked this rumour, saying there was 'absolutely no truth' in it.
The same rumour has now resurfaced via ' Hola' magazine in which Liz is quoted as saying: Quote:
"I want to have fun and when I learned that most of my scenes are with the characters of Jason Isaacs and Ralph Fiennes I didn't doubt about doing it." [...] The filming locations will be right next door so my life as mother and wife will not be damaged."
Once again, Warner Brothers have stated that the rumour is false. Liz Hurley will not be in 'Order of the Phoenix'.
Casting for the fifth film is due to start this Autumn with shooting beginning in the Spring of 2006.

liz is a good woman for SMALL roles in SMALL productions.
she's no where near good enough for the hp franchise!
i just hope that WB don't take her on in autumn.
i know that production companies always de-bunk casting rumours before anything official is released, and then it turns out that some of the rumoured people are gonna be in it anyway.
oh dear, i'm just getting myself worked up.

While the role of LeStrange is important for OotP I don't see Hurley in the role. How about an Aussie, Nicole Kidman...killer looks and a good actress. She would a killer in the part. (pun sort of intended) More than that role I want to know who will play Umbridge. I try to think on British actresses who could do the role justice and I draw a void. My favorite older actress Judi Drench doesn't quite fit the bill for Umbridge but then make up and costuming would help a lot.

the only thing that would have made me believe that liz would play bellatrix was that she would have look liked she was related to that dude who plays sirius
Other than that i dont she would have been evil enough!

I always imagined Ballatrix a bit younger and prettier. I don't know who should play her, but for sure I would NOT want Liz Hurley. I say they should cast an unfimilar. That seems to work. I just wish they would have done that for Count Olaf in Lemony Snicket.
