There are a lot of nice songs (I like the magic one and the one for Voldemort's return), but sometimes I can't help but thing this guy couldn't fill the shoes... It's just not as good as the original three. Especially the one for PoA which I absolutely *loved*.

I disagree Tao. I think this is better than all 3 previous scores put together. Maybe it's the sinister/creepy tone of the whole piece. I love what Doyle has done with Hedwig's theme; it used to be happy-clappy whereas now it's more ominous. Quote:

They're not playing Radiohead music no but members FROM Radiohead are appearing as the Weird Sisters. The 3 Weird Sisters tracks are the first 3 on the AOL List.

I just thought that at least PoA was better. I loved the jazzy theme they did for the Knight Bus, and it was just a pretty good score. This one isn't bad, but there are just too many songs that I thought were too - what's the word? Timid. But there are songs on here that are great. The maze, Voldemort, the foreign visitors... stuff like that. I do love the twist he did for Hedwig's theme, definitely!

Ugh. I loathed the Knight Bus stuff. Those scenes in the film totally put me off the music. My favourites on PoA were A Window to the Past, Buckbeak's Flight, Double Trouble, Finale and Mischief Managed. It's funny you mention timid because I've been lurking at other sites and they seem to find it melodramatic.  I loved the QWC; the blend of Irish and Bulgarian sounds. This soundtrack is definitely broader in terms of culture and expression.

That means you have to install the AOL Media Playback Plug-in. It will have most likely given you a link to do so. If not search it in Google and install it. Then it should work.

I think that 'Harry Potters Love' is the moment where Priori Incantatem happens, I can just see Lily and James appearing from the wand and protecting Harry when that happens. It is great.

I think that the songs that Jonny, Jarvis and Phil (The Weird Sisters) composed are great, something outta what we've heard for the HP movies before, and yet perfect for the ball somehow. I think it reflects the crazyness of young ppl, lol, and of course I support them cause I very much like Radiohead .
For the rest of the Soundtrack, I think that this one is very good on it's own way, definitely different from Williams but very good anyways I think Doyle made a nice job, Marcella Riddle is rite about the culture and expression stuff.
