News Times Live has a short piece about a program sponsored by the Bethel Public Library that had five girls and one boy between the ages of 10 and 13 taking part in a program discussing things that could happen in the sixth novel, Harry Potter and the half-Blood Prince. Quote:
Angelica Licari, 12, doesn't think Dean Thomas is a viable candidate (for the HBP).
"I don't think he's a major enough character unless she (Rowling) brought him out more," Angelica said.

I think they may mean Krum could be a teacher but those things the article claims are unconfirmed.

yeah we know that lol i ment that i cant see any of Harrys class amtes beign a teacher but Krum would have been out of school 2 years in HBP but i think he is the prince

The little bookstore where I work just ordered 252 copies... *squee* And I won't have to stand in line! But I think that Krum as the teacher is possible, I suppose... Hermione sounds like a better candidate. LOL I refuse to speculate on the HBP... Ms. Rowling will make it awesome!

humm well lets see if it was the half blood PRINCESS it would be a bit obvious it was hermionie don't you think? and unless JKR is introducing another person then i think dean thomas is the most likley candidate....however you are all forgeting that You Know Who himself is half blood... Any ideas?

Hmmm....very interesting. Which of his class mates.So this implies someone of his own age.Own house.Own year.Own school.Thus,ruling out Krum. I don't know how they could become a teacher in the 6th or 7th because they would still be a student.Still learning. Unless they are getting the facts wrong and it is someone of a different year. Most unlikely Percy.He seems happy with his job.So thats probably a no. But the first person I thought of,was Olver Wood. He could come back to do something.Maybe Quidditch teacher.But then this would mean getting rid of Hooch.Which is doubtful,and it probably has no point in the book whatsover. I'm guessing this is yet another roomer,unless JK has said so herself. So...lets all take a deep breath,hold onto our computer chairs,keep our wallets and library cards near and wait till July.

Well ive heard that teacher rumor before. I think it was in a magazine article. I think the arctical claimed that JK said so... Who knows. I have debated with ppl who have also heard the rumor and most ppl i have talked to said they think it will be Neville for Herbology. Except the person was to teach AFTER they graduated. As for the Half blood Prince...Who Knows? could be a multitude of people. lol.

Well, first off, Hermoine couldn't be the half blood prince because one she is female (unless there is something she isnt telling the boys...lol) and second she isnt hafl blood. She is a muggle born full blown one sided of the wizarding way not 2 she is muggle she doesnt have a mum whose a witch and dad who is muggle or vice versa. Also, I noticed that PadfootPrincess said that Voldy is half blood but JK has already said that it is NOT Voly or Harry. Neville is a possibility. I mean we dont know if one of his parents were muggle born and the other wasnt so...? And maybe Dean, thats also a possibility, but I am not sure. So I am just gonna wait till the 6th book comes out. And the also the thing about someone becoming a professor. Well the only way that would make sense were if it was Hermoine. Other wise how wold any of them become a teacher when they havent even finished school. Hermoine would be the most likely one because she is so advanced, but then there is also Harry himself but since it says one of his classmates that wouldnt work. Oh, well I guess Ill just have to wait for the 6th one to come out.....*sits down cross-legged on the ground* here i go. I am waiting.....and waiting...and waiting.......(several months later not yet July) still waiting...the anticipation will most likely kill me...*sighs* | |
