In a new audio interview from the Scottish Style Awards, Katie Leung mentioned that she would start filming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in January to reprise her role as Cho Chang!
About 5:30 minutes into the interview, she states: Quote:
I've got Harry Potter in January and I don't start shooting 'til then.

Um...how is she going to be in it, exactly?  Cho is pretty distant in that book...hardly ever mentioned... EDIT: First to post!

Yay. I haven't read the fifth book but from you guys it seems as though there is not point of Katie coming int he movie since cho in the book is barley mentions. What ever, if they think she is need then so shall it be! | |

Uhhhh....WHY????? Cho had almost nil to do with HBP, she had one scene where she fled into her train compartment, that's it. What in the world is the point of having her back? Lovely. Characters who have fairly decent sized roles in the book are being left out, and yet Cho is in the movie. To quote Yoda, "Sense, this does not make. MMMMMM."

Cho?? It's not important in that movie..What she did is when she was overcame by Ginny in the match and when Harry saw her and her friend in the train when he went to Slughorn compartment??? May be they will add some scenes for her in the movie.

Like many mentioned, she's only in the book once where she hides in the compartment from Harry.
