| | |  Katie Leung lands role in Poirot (UPDATED)
The Daily Record is reporting that Katie Leung (Cho Chang) has landed a part in the ITV1 detective drama series Poirot, based on the novels by Agatha Christie.
The episode, which is set to air later this month, is called Cat Among the Pigeons and features Katie in the role of Hsui Tai Wan. We shall let you know when we're aware of an exact air date. UPDATE: Katie Leung Fan has news that the episode will air September 21st at 9PM BST, and have found two images of the actress from the programme, which can be seen here:  
Also, the latest issue of Sky magazine has a quote from Katie where she talks about her experience on the Poirot set: Quote: POTTED HISTORY
“My character is a schoolgirl called Hsui Tai Wan” reveals Katie Leung, best known for her role as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter films. “Working on this has been a lot different from Harry Potter and Hogwarts, where all the sets are specially designed. Here it’s an actual college and the set is smaller, so you get to know everyone individually”.

ooh! I love reading and watching all this side-projects from the HP cast! As a matter of fact, yesterday I watched December Boys on HBO! Plus, I love the Poirot books by Agatha Christie so it's awesome that Katie is doing this project! Cat Among the Pigeons, hmm... I don't think I've read that one.
