I just died a little inside. :'(

At this moment, all I can say is "WOW!" because Harry Potter is officially done, cinema wise. I actually thought that a day like this would never come, but the magic of Harry Potter will always be with me and it will always be in the heart of millions!

Now that the 'Wizarding World of Harry Potter' will be opening soon, the world of Harry Potter will live forever and we, Harry Potter fans, know this was a blessing because there is no world like Harry Potter!

I want to thank all the directors that helped make Harry Potter come to life as well as Ms. J.K. Rowling herself to bring Harry Potter to life! I will always love and be a Harry Potter fan for as long as I can live!

Wow. I'm happy and sad at the same time.

NOOOOOOOOOO! Im going to cry soo much right now, this is soo sad, I can't believe that today was the last Day of Harry Potter filming, :"( I seriously can't believe it, like its official, wow. I'm going to wear black today
Im soo devastated right now, I always knew this was coming but actually being there/here i mean and knowing its the last day, Its a horrible feeling.

This feels very surreal! We all knew this day would eventually come, but did we really understand it? I think I didn't. Time has gone so fast! I don't know what to say... this is very emotional for everyone who's been there making these films, and that's what it is for all of us as well. I think we all have been in this together, in a way. This truly is an end of an era.
Luckily we still have another year to go before the second part of DH comes out... can you people imagine the feeling when the DH epilogue ends, the last lines are said, we hear the music for the last time and the big screen says "the end"?! Ok, sorry, let's not think about it yet, this is enough at the moment

Oh no.
It's finished.I'm broken.

So it's really over. Now it's tech work to put everything together and get us two films in the next months.

Oh dear!

The most incredible era of the last 20 years has come to an end. And what an era it´s been. We grew up with the books and the films from a young age and we felt for the little black-haired boy and his youth and later his new life and friends. JKR created a magical series of books wich will be read and re-read over and over again for the next 20 years. Everyone will remember Harry, Ron and Hermione as heroes, invisible human beings, secret lovers of everyone. Harry Potter and his friends will remain in our heart and mind for the rest of our lives. We will remember all their adventures and dangerous moments they went trough, rule-breaking or not.
The first time I came in touch with Harry was on a winter holiday in Austria. My parents and sister were convinced that I should read the books so I started and after a shaky start, that time I thouight the first few pages were boring, but reading the book as a whole was just pure enjoyment and I´ve been hooked ever since.
The first time I cried on reading HP was in GoF, after Harry had to tell Dumbledore what happened at the graveyard. Those minutes where nothing more than heartbreaking for him even if Sirius was there as well.
I will miss the jokes and humoristic scenes, the fights between Ron and Hermione because that was pure joy.
When the films came out my exitement grew beyond any proportions. I was a 13-year old first-year secundairy school student and watched the first movie with some friends back then. Like with the books, I´ve been addicted ever since.

It has been a priviledge reading and watching Harry Potter, the books and films are my crowning jewels of my DVD and book collection, my future kids are gonna adore the books and films like I did and I´m more than proud to say: I´ve read Harry Potter!

Goodbye Harry, Ron and Hermione, we will always remember you as the three teenage heroes of our youth and I would love to here from you in the near future!!!

I keep having to blink my eyes to stop myself from crying...it's not working...I'm so devastated!

No no no! It can't be over! The last "cut" is heart breaking. But the line "Farewell Harry & Hogwarts, it's been magic!" gave me chills. This journey has definitely been magic for us fans as well.

wow...its over...man...how we are gonna miss all that...farewell Harry and Hogwarts...but we will always miss you and love you and guys who made those books and characters come alive we love you too...all the best with your future endevours...we hope and wish everyone of you are happy and successful in whatever you do in your future...and last but not the least Thanks A Lot J K Rowling...for the world that you created that made the younger generation to go back to reading books and getting into the world of imagination and also you gave a chance for WB and Heyday Productions to work and make into movies and thanks a lot coz because we got to know and see such awesome actors...we love you very much...alas the end has come

awwww!!! this is so depressing!! No more anticipation? it's all over? *sigh* well, at least the movies themselves haven't come out yet. 6 months till part one! 13 for part two!

This makes me want to cry

It's a sad day (later). It was inevitable, of course, but it still hits a sore spot. But I guess it's bittersweet. Just being able to say that I've been a fan for over ten years, seeing the movies, playing the games, wearing the robes, buying the wands, drawing the scar on my forehead, being a member of Snitchseeker; it was all worth it. But now the books are long done, and the movies have no finished, but Harry Potter will continue to be an unexplainable phenomena that has stretched world-wide. We've all been captivated by Jo's fantastic work, and we'll continue to be captivated for decades to come.

Gosh, it felt good writing that. I'm sad that it's over, but at the same time I'm happy that I've been part of it through and through.

well it was the last day of principal photography, but there could still be Pickups and other things which would call back some of the actors. LOTR also had a "last day" of prinicpal photography and they kept calling back the cast for the next 3 years for pickups and reshoots.

there probably will be another call in for the cast just before HP2 is released, only because editing wouldnt be actually be done till then.

but the bulk of filming is over. feels like the countdown to the end has begun

Very sad....the end of an era.

This is so, so sad. T__T I knew it was coming, but so soon... it's so heart breaking. The series I've followed for nearly a decade (next year) is over... it's funny, too. Got into HP seeing the trailer for the first movie. Read SS just before I got to see the movie with my school... it was my first venture into HP, and it feels like it was a century ago.. but my love for this series, book or movie, has never decreased at all, and I doubt it ever will.

Sheer coincidence, but my cat Lucy gave birth to three kittens on June 12th. Two boys and a girl. And yes, I simply had to name them Harry, Hermione and Rupert (Ron just didn't sound right ). Might stick a little pic of them in my sig at some point.
