Julie Walters attends Mamma Mia! premiere (UPDATED)
Actress Julie Walters (Molly Weasley in the
Harry Potter films), will be starring in the upcoming
Mamma Mia! movie, which will be released in theatres July 18, 2008. The UK premiere took place this evening, at which Julie attended with many of her film's costars (including Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Colin Firth). Photos of the event can be seen

Okay I saw this musical live and, aside from the ABBA music (which I am not ashamed to say I love) the story is, uh, well silly.....but Julie Walters and Colin Firth are enough to make me suffer thru it on screen. Quite a silly story - all these older ladies jumping and dancing around....wait, no, they make me feel YOUNG!!! So this is a good thing.
