| | |  Julie Walters and 'Driving Lessons' pick up awards
Julie Walters (a.k.a. Molly Weasley) won the Best Actress award for her portrayal in the movie Driving Lessons over the weekend at the 28th annual Moscow International Film Festival. The film, also starring Rupert Grint, picked up three other awards as well.

I'm really proud of Rupert and DL. It's no surprise that Julie won (go her!), and Rupert was nominated (and I think just because a film is doesn't mean the lead actor would be), but DL winning the Jury award and the critic award means a lot. It shows that everyone thinks it's a fantastic film and that Rupert did an amazing job for them to recognize it as a fantastic film.  And we all knew Julie would be superb. She's already an award nominated actress. | |

Big congrats to Rupert, Jeremy and everyone involved in Driving Lessons and an especailly big congrats to Julie for winning best actress. From all the reviews, it's clear that she definitely deserved it.

Congradulations!! I really want to see this movie the more I read about it. I mean with winning all these awards and DL has been shown at like 4 film festivals it means that people really like this movie!

Rupert was nominated for best actor but lost out to someone else. He was up against some heavy hitters, so the nomination is still a really big thrill. Plus as I said, the jury and critic awards means a lot to everyone included, which also means Rupert. Quote:
