| | |  John Hurt to reprise Ollivander role in Deathly Hallows?
Actor John Hurt, who played the wandmaker Ollivander in the first film, Sorcerer's Stone, was asked about the chance of him returning to play his character in the final installments of the series, Deathly Hallows: Quote:
Having played Mr Ollivander in the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s [Stone], it seems he may be returning for the final instalment, which has been split into two for the cinema.
“I didn’t spend a lot of time on the Harry Potter film but I might be spending more time there next time,” he smiled. “We’ll see.”
We will try to update with news about potential casting when it is made available.

i couldnt imagine John Hurt not returning to reprise his role as Ollivander, specially knowing how important that character is to the overall story of DH.

i just said this two days ago...ollivander's role is crucial in explaining the wands to Harry in the last book. The whole subtext of the wand (elder wand) is so important for obvious reasons.

WOOT WOOT! He was the perfect Ollivander in Sorcerer's Stone, so he definitely needs to be in Deathly Hallows! Ollivander plays a big part in the book, so it's important for him to be in the movies and there's no one better to play the part.

I love when the original actors return. I didn't like it when dumbledore's part had to be taken over by a different actor. It just wasn't the same, i lost some interest in that movie.
