 JKRowling is expecting her third child! - Summary:
She has updated her site to tell us all her wonderful news, she's expecting a baby, her third, due next year. Article: JKRowling is expecting her third child!
JKR has updated the news section on her official site. We have now learned that she is expecting a 3rd child, due next year. Quote:
I am really delighted to say that I am expecting a third baby, who is due next year. I always wanted three children, so I could not be happier. Jo did write, however, that book six remains well on track and that baby-related interruptions are unlikely.

Now, I know that many Harry Potter fans’ first reaction will be what does this mean for the timing of book six? (I’m not maligning you… I’m sure you’re happy for me… but I know you really want that book!) So let me reassure you that book six remains well on track and, fingers crossed of course, I don’t foresee any baby-related interruptions or delays. I still can’t say for sure when it will be finished, but I have written a lot and I really like it (a reckless challenge to fate, that; I bet the next chapter goes horribly wrong now) YAY!  I was actually a little loss for words when I heard that. That is still great, poor little baby's so unaware of the hype he/she is producing before they are even born! Congradulations JK Rowling, couldn't happen to a nicer and wonderful person! All the best!

Oh Wow, that is amazing news! There are so many babies being born at the moment. Two sets of my friends both gave birth to girls last week alone. Oh I'm so broody, I want a baby too! LOL

YAY! I'm so happy for her...and me and for all HP fans too because if there will be no baby related incidents (such as birth!) to hold up the writing of book six that means it'll probably be done by (counts on fingers) March-ish!

She's probably already 3 to 4 months gone; she wouldn't announce it until she's out of the danger zone, with miscarriages and all. The baby's probably due January/February. The book release could be a month before that, or a couple of months after. I think the after is far more likely.

Yeah, she wouldn't announce it before the 3rd month, it's not recommended by doctors and your midwife anyway... Plus as she is a celebrity the later the better, because you know that the papers are gonna try and hound her to get a picture, because they see it as 'BIG NEWS' but it is as far as I'm concerned, I think it's wonderful.
I have a feeling the book will be out around Easter time (April...ish)

Name her son Harry? JK already said she was going to name Jessica that if she was a boy, but because she was a girl she gave the name to our Harry. Come on JK! Name it William! A nice strong and attractive name! EDIT: OMG! Emma! I would have lost it being that close to her...no I am not a freak, it would just be really sureal and I would have yelled out 'GO HARRY/GINNY'
