| | |  JKR announces 'Deathly Hallows' release date
JK Rowling announced the publication date for the seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series on her website on February first. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on July 21st at 0:01 BST in the UK and other English speaking countries. Incidentally, 2007 marks the ten year anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Rowling Official Site UPDATE Bloomsbury, the British publisher of the Harry Potter books, has issued a press release regarding the publication date of the seventh installment of the Harry Potter series. You can read the press release here where it confirms an English language release date around the world of July 21st. Scholastic, the US publisher of the Harry Potter books, has also made and announcement regarding the release date which can be read here. It confirms a US release date of July 21st at 12:01am. | |
