| | |  JK Rowling to help endorse the World HIV/AIDS Charity
[color="#ff0066"]Renown authors JK Rowling, and Ian Rankin, will be endorsing a new world HIV/AIDS charity that will be launched in Edinburgh this week.
The charity's launch on Thursday will begin with an auction featuring a signed copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, donated by JK Rowling. Also, crime writer Ian Rankin, the creator of Edinburgh's Inspector Rebus, has donated a signed copy of one of his novels.
Miss. Sandrine Sienche, the charity's marketing representative, is quoted saying: Quote:

This is fantastic. The problem with HIV/AIDS is that everyone knows it is a problem, and yet it is so hard for organizations to find a solution, even with all the support. By recruiting as many influential people as possible {you can't beat JKR for that!}, hopefully help will be found. | |
