Although she is the Forbes list JK is out of the top 10 in the UK Article:
Thanks to Wizardnews for providing a link to an article explaining that JK is no longer in the top 10 richest people in the UK. Quote: Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich has been revealed as the UK's richest person with a family fortune almost seven times that of the Queen,.
The Russian's £7.2 billion wealth puts him top of the Mail on Sunday Rich Report 2004, ahead of Tetrapak billionaire Hans Rausing and the Duke of Westminster.
The report includes the 300 richest UK-based men and women whose combined wealth comes to £147.3 billion - up 28 per cent on on a year ago.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling, whose £530 million fortune recently earned her a place in the prestigious US-based Forbes magazine's rich list, is absent from the new report's top 10.

I think that is good actually, because she donates like, tons of her money to charity. If she wanted to be richer, she could be. Besides, just because she isn't the top 10 richest people, doesn't mean she sitll isn't living the good life, lol.
I'd take a 500 milion plus anyday!

She doesnt have to be the richest cuz she is still the best. She gets children to read and that makes her wealthier then anyone. Her currancy is literacy. And she has it and gives it in abundance. :flowersmile:

I dont think that J.K started writing these books to get on the top ten richest in the u.k list. She had a story to tell. Now she's giving back, and that's awesome cus there are alot of people out there that were just like her a few years ago.

I dont actually feel bad that shes not in the top 10, altho from all the work she has put into the HP books, she deserves to be. Maybe when the sixth book comes out she can be on there again...until then i cant wait until the third movie comes out on june 4th! woohoo
