The Daily Express reports that J.K.Rowling, author of the Potter novels, helped fund a film about domestic violence called Friday Night Shirt.
The background page on the site reads; Quote:
As well as attracting top industry professionals, the film's important message caught the eye of Bestselling Author JK Rowling ('Harry Potter'), who was a key funder of the production.
The Express reports that the producer wrote to JKR after hearing she wanted to support and highlight women's issues.

Well, I will keep a watch for it. Usually small films like that just go strait to home video here in the states. That would be a good film for reference in my women's studies class.
