JKR has sent a letter in response to the birthday fanfile put together by Wizard City a few months ago: Quote:
Thank you very much for your letters. I am currently working hard on the sixth Harry Potter book and enjoying the writing more than ever; Hopefully this means that it will be enjoyable to read! I am however increasingly conscious that I am nearing the end of the series. The last two books seem almost like two halves of the same novel, because so much that happens in six is related to what happens at the very end of the story. Thank you again for writing. It means the world to me that Harry's fans take the time and trouble to let me know how much they like him.

To me, the end of the series is bittersweet. It's great that they're almost finished, but it sucks that they're almost finished.
I really thought Mark Evans was the HBP. Shucks.

I don't really mind waiting for HBP because the more time it takes, the higher quality of the writing. I found that OotP was extremely well-written and was definitely worth the wait. Hopefully, it'll be the same with this book. Don't get me wrong, I'm still itching to find out who the HBP is.

I still love HP but these books are getting sooooo dark and the characters are so miserable i wish she'd just kill harry off now....it's getting to be a joke! My bff and I made a pinkie promise that if harry dies in book 7 (in my opinion there's a 99% chance he will) and there is a movie 7 when he dies we're gonna shout in the middle of the theatre FINALLY and walk out lol! I mean i'm still excited but......lol....it's getting old....and it's almost over!
