Jim McManus' agents have confirmed to The Leaky Cauldron that he will play Aberforth Dumbledore in ' Order of the Phoenix'. Aberforth is the un-named bartender at the Hog's Head who witnesses the first meeting of the D.A. Jim has been in many films and TV shows including; The Sweeney, Doctor Who, Only Fools and Horses, The Bill, Goodnight Sweetheart, Tipping the Velvet, Hornblower and Heartbeat.

Oh good - I'm glad that he's been cast - I was slightly worried that they would have cut him out, so it's great to know. And he's obviously an experienced actor - *looks at all the wonderful shows he's been in* so I'm sure he'll do well.

im glad he's been cast. i thought since they cut out major character such as dooby from GOF they might cut alberfourth out of OOTP since his role is pretty insignificant.

Oh wow. So that is another part they're putting in. Man, with all this stuff they are putting in, what is taken out? Just when I get glad that WIOK might be in, they add more stuff and I fear it getting cut...
