| | |  Jim Dale to read from HBP on Tuesday?
The Today Show has listed in its schedule that Jim Dale (the US audiobook reader) will read from a Potter book on their show on Tuesday.
NBC have said that they wish for his reading to be a 'surprise'. Given the timing, it seems unlikely that he'll be reading from one of the previous books. So it is possible that he could read a passage from ' Half-Blood Prince'.

Yeah, no doubt it is the first paragraph, like before OOtP was released they showed up the first few lines. I am sure he's not going to open the book and say,
'I am the Half-Blood Prince!' announced Percy, who then took out his wand and fired a few spells around, killing Ron and Hermione on the spot.
Let's be logical here people!

We got an excerpt last time that was at least a paragraph. I'm more interested in getting something similar to that. Even if it is as confusing as the OotP one was -- when they arrived at Grimmauld Place.

Perhaps it will be an excerpt as Emma pointed out happened when OOTP came out. It will not give out much, but it would be cool nevertheless.
It may be that he doesn't read from HBP at all, though it would be pointless to have the reading if he didn't.

where on the website is the schedule? or does anyone know what time? or just at 7 when the whole show starts and we have to watch the whole thing?
And I hope he does read from HBP, I think its pretty probable that he will.

I'm thinking he may read the blurb. The opening chapter is about the night that the Potters died - that would definitely be too much of a spoiler! Quote:
