Hmmm... You know what? I've never heard any of the audio books. I guess I would listen in person though. Hmmmm.

For many with dyslexia, blindness, or other reading handicapp audio books are truly a treasure. A braille copy of HP and the HBP is 10 volumes, according to a blind friend. A couple of discs is a easier to handle. Before I learned to overcome my dyslexia, I used to listen to books on audio disks or tapes, and it helped me, because I would follow along in the real thing. Yet helping the disabled isn't the only good thing about audio books. Audio books are great for long trips, or other place you might not want to take a printed copy of book, like backpacking or boating.

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

There'd be little point in him reading here, Lee, because Stephen Fry does the audiobooks for here.

audio books i wouldnt want to listen to that because i hate it when you imagin someones voice to be one way and then you would hear that and it sounds soo stupid and for me that would ruin the whole book because the whole time i would be thinking how stupid the voice was

Is there any difference between the guy who reads the british version of the HP audio books and Jim Dale? By difference I mean as far as reading the book with more feeling. I listened to OOTP on audio with JD and I was wincing. It was just ugh, awful. I was wondering if a british accent made a difference plus if the other guy had more of a repepetoire (sp?) for differenet voices?
