| | |  Jason Isaacs hopes to return for Deathly Hallows
Liverpool Magazine interviewed Jason Isaacs, the actor who plays Lucius Malfoy, recently and they talked about several things, including his desire to return to the Harry Potter films. Quote:
"The next thing I am up to is a lot of waiting: waiting to see if Brotherhood goes to a third season (it’s up to the network-they own me for six years); waiting to see if “Stopping Power (a car chase film I starred in with John Cusack but that fell apart due to money trouble) starts again as rumoured; waiting to do publicity for “Good” a film I’ve just finished with Viggo Mortensen; waiting to see if I’m in Harry Potter 7 (I’m in the book but who knows what gets cut to make 900 pages into a film). Or none of the above. That’s what’s exciting."
In the interview, they also discussed Jason's current film-in-progress, La Conjurade El Escorial. He was quoted saying that he's in the movie with "puffy velvet trousers, a director who doesn’t speak English, and a very itchy beard".
When asked about what makes him smile, he gave a heart warming answer that's sure to make his fans fall in love with him even more: Quote:
"The things that always make me smile are my two little girls, Larry David, catching my wife welling up with tears while listening to tragically cheesy pop songs."
Finally, while on the subject of children, he finished the interview on a good note. Quote:
"If I had more time I’d have dozens of kids, build an orphanage, be a black belt, play the saxophone, freefall, learn Chinese, roam the world with 5 (British pounds), a penknife and some sticky backed plastic. Think of a better answer."

He'd better be, he's great. That was one of the best casting choices I've ever seen. Plus, Lucius develops so much as a character in DH.
The thing with DH is not only is so much going on, but the characters develop so much, we see sides of them we didn't know existed. Dumbledore, Lupin, Kreacher. Snape!! I totally understand movie production and why they can't bring every single detail of the book to the films. Totally understand why Kill Bill was two movies instead of one like Quentin Tarantino wanted. What'll upset me is if they make DH all about the action and miss the opportunities to show the character development on screen, opportunities that are staring them dead in the face and that the cast are totally capable of portraying.
