| | |  Jamie Campbell Bower to play teen Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows?
British actor Jamie Campbell Bower ( RocknRolla), who co-starred with Harry Potter alumni Alan Rickman (Snape), Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix), and Timothy Spall (Pettigrew) in Sweeney Todd last year, is apparently under negotiations to play the teenager version of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows: Quote:
He's playing a vampire in Twilight sequel New Moon, and is in final negotiations to portray Gellert Grindelwald - one of the most dangerous dark wizards of all time (in Harry Potter lore anyway), second only to Voldemort.
His character will feature in the two-part Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows films that started shooting concurrently in February and will continue till late spring next year.

The report also says that Bill and Fleur's wedding scenes will be filmed sometime this summer. Quote:
The trio have done several action sequences, and Daniel and Emma have been working with a choreographer for some big wedding scenes that will be shot in the summer.

Didn't know he was going to be in the Twilight saga movies, he does look a bit vampire, like the way they are portrayed in the books, with his face and all

The first one looks alright, but upon seeing the last two, the first word that popped into my head was "androgynous."
What I'd really like to see in Deathly Hallows would be Jamie Bell. He's just a phenomenal actor. Preferrably as nineteen year-old Teddy Lupin in the epilogue.

Well, there are a couple of issues there: Jamie's well at work doing the Tintin trilogy, which I imagine will take him a while to film; and we never see teenage Teddy, so there's a chance no one will be cast for that.

He originally auditioned to play TEEN TOM RIDDLE, but I think this role would better suit him. I think he would PERFECT as young Grindlewald...he's almost exactly how I pictured him. I hope this news is true. He was really great in Sweeney Todd.
Boy he sure does get around...didn't he just get cast in the new Twilight movie?

To be honest, I don't really see him in the HP films *dies* Not that I think he's a bad actor or anything but I just... Gah, no x)
If he's going to join the HP cast, he'd better play his role well

He will be Caius in New Moon, a totally different character than teen Grindelwald....when i see HBP, i totally will have my mind in THAT movie, and not be sitting in the dark thinking, "oh puke, he is in New Moon too!" I personally think he will do fine in both films.....he was brilliant in Sweeney Todd.
