Post James & Oliver Phelps to attend Harry Potter: the Exhibition opening in Edmonton

James and Oliver Phelps will headline the opening of Harry Potter: The Exhibition in Edmonton, Canada next month, including hosting a sneak peek on Friday, November 22, the day before it officially opens. The sneak peek will also host a giveaway for fans, where 100 pairs of tickets will be given out to hang out with the Phelps twins on the 22nd at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton.


Tickets purchased before November 10, 2013 are eligible for a chance to attend an exclusive exhibition preview hosted by James and Oliver Phelps

October 31, 2013, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada – British actors James and Oliver Phelps – who portray Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films – are coming to Edmonton for Harry Potter: The Exhibition at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton which opens on November 23, 2013.

The Phelps’ will be on-hand to host a sneak-peek on Friday, November 22, as well as officially open the exhibition to the public at 12:01am on Saturday morning, November 23, at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton.

Those who purchase, or have purchased, an exhibition ticket before 11:59pm MST on November 10, 2013, automatically receive an entry form for a chance to win one of 100 pairs of tickets to attend the sneak-peek event hosted by James and Oliver Phelps. Visit telusworldofscienceedmonton.com for complete contest rules; no purchase necessary.

The exhibition offers visitors a first-hand look inside the famous wizard’s magical world and features hundreds of authentic film artifacts displayed in immersive settings inspired by the film sets – including the Great Hall, Hagrid’s hut and the Gryffindor™ common room. Visitors can also try their hand at several interactive elements such as pulling a Mandrake in the Herbology classroom vignette, tossing a ”Quaffle” in the Quidditch™ area, or sitting in Hagrid’s giant-sized armchair.

James and Oliver Phelps appeared in all eight Harry Potter films and have attended the exhibition at various locations throughout its global five-year tour. Edmonton is the tenth stop for the exhibition, which debuted in Chicago in 2009 and has since been touring the world with recent stops in Tokyo, New York City and Singapore. The exhibition has expanded in recent years to include artifacts from all eight Harry Potter films.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition opens at 12:01am Saturday, November 23, 2013, and will run through Sunday, March 9, 2014 at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton. The exhibition is a timed entry experience and will be open daily. Tickets are now available online at telusworldofscienceedmonton.com, by calling 780-451-3344, or by visiting the science centre’s box office.

Admission to Harry Potter: The Exhibition, which includes general admission to the science centre’s exhibition halls, is $26.50 for adults, $23.50 for seniors and youth (ages 65+ and 13-17), and $19.50 for children (ages 3-12); and for TELUS World of Science - Edmonton members, admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and youth, and $14 for children.

This is cool. I would love to be able to meet any of the actors/actresses. Heck, I would even settle for seeing them in person from afar. I am not hard to please!
