| | |  J.K. Rowling wins Author of the Year award
A couple months ago we told you that J.K. Rowling had been nominated for Author of the Year at the National Children's Choice Book awards. Jo has now been announced as the winner last night in New York City for her work on Deathly Hallows. Over 55,000 votes were cast to decide the winners at Book Week Online. The event was hosted by the Children's Book Council in association with the CBC Foundation.
