J.K. Rowling has told the Today Show that she will "probably" publish a Potter encyclopedia featuring more details about her characters and the wizarding world beyond the ending of Deathly Hallows. Quote: |
“I suppose I have (started) because the raw material is all in my notes,” Rowling said.

| Rowling went on to divulge some details about the wizarding world, post- Deathly Hallows.
She also revealed which character got the reprieve she referred to last year - in other words, which character she originally planned to kill, but brought back in a later draft.
She also spoke about the writing of a particular chapter toward the end of Deathly Hallows.

I really want that book.
I think if she makes it definate, I might fall out of my depression because I've been depressed since the end of DH. It killed me. I think a Dementor sucked out my soul.....
And oh, I can't believe who the reprieve went to!
I hope she writes that book.... soon.... ish.... I'm sure she wants a break and it's not like she needs the money now.... | |

she said something like this on a british talk show that I watched. I hope she does!!!!!!!!
oOo, I just remembered, she also said that anything she does write and put there, like an encyclopedia, all proceeds will go to charity. possibly comic relief??

this is just fantastic i spent a couple of hours crying thinkinng that i will never have the excitment of waiting for the next book to be releases.
Harry has been apart of my life for so long as well its like loosing a close friend
i just could not help myself for crying.
this is like the best news ever do hope that J.K publishes the encyclopedia, that would be the best thing ever.
