who on earth dreamed up ron = dumbledore??????? or a son coming back from the future???? luckily i had no idea this was even a theory or my shippy brain would have gone into overdrive and i would have been terribly dissapointed, as it has i'm quite glum about what could have been!  haha, maybe ron and hermione have daughters?!
i love JK and her sense of humour, plus, she cannot do any worse than Chamber of Secrets  so i know this book is gonna be a corker

Haha. The R/Hr thing is just plain mean! Mean I tell you! LOL Although somehow I feel like her messing around with us is a good sign. Would she be so bold to mess with R/Hr shippers if a) Ron died b) Hermione died or c) R/Hr didn't get together for some unknown reason ? Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part...
As for some not liking HBP... I think it's just what she says. There will be people who do not like the book. Whether it be a death in it (which there will, right?) or because they didn't particularly care for the storyline. It happens. I personally didn't find OotP all that enjoyable even though it's 100 times better than most books.
I think JKR is right about the Maraudars. I told my mom about how people were upset but that I didn't think it was a big deal unless you were completely dense and she goes, "Yeah, considering Lupin knew how to use the map..." And she hadn't even read PoA before that statement.

The Mrauders will probably be addressed in GoF. I'm more than sure I heard that from an interview with Mike Newell. They didn't feel they should bombard an audience with info at the end of PoA which they mighten remember in a year and a half's time when the next film was released.
I'm with Jo, the absence of that plotline made sense to me.

It is funny how she doesn't give any info about the shipps, she is telling us nothing new about them, she can be laughing at the thought of Ron and Hermione having a kid (meaning that there is nothing between Ron and Hermione, so why people come out with such a dumb questions!!) or sending a message that maybe in the future there is going to be a R/Hr. | |

LOL I don't see where that indicated that one or both dies. I think JKR likes to mess with Potter fans. Why? Because we over-analyze everything. Well, _I_ don't because I think that ruins the experience of the book and some things just don't have any point to them when you write. In any case, I think she knows fans do that and she likes messing with us. If anything, her joking around allivates some of my fears because I have to wonder... would she be so cruel as to joke around about true things?
