J.K.Rowling updates her site again! - she also denies book six rumors

Summary:
Yet more updates have appeared on her now infamous site

-------
Click here for the walkthrough on how to get past the brick wall.
-------

That's correct. Sorry one and all but the Harry Potter and the Pillar of Storge rumor turns out to be very false. JK has confirmed this at her site and Newsround have also reported it to be a hoax.

Here are some interesting updates at her site:

1) You can now get past that infamous door but alas, there is not much behind it. Go look!

2) There are lots of new tidbits in the FAQ section including these quotes;

Quote:
"Who is your favourite character?"

I love writing (though would not necessarily want to meet) Snape. My favourite new character is Luna Lovegood.
She also includes what other jobs she's done, what house at Hogwarts she would like to be in and what her children think of "Harry Potter".

About the books, there are three dark marked areas in which she answers questions about why Harry didn't see the Thestrals until OotP, why Harry did not use the mirror Sirius gave him (in which she responds, you'll find out in books six and seven) and refers to Dan Radcliffe's theory loosely of Voldemort and Harry both having to die according to the prophecy. To this, she really doesn't give a straight answer, which is rather true to her cunning character.

3) She also reitterates how to pronounce Hermione and once again stresses that there will only be seven proper Harry Potter novels.

The Harry Potter Lexicon has also received the fansite award from JK, who refers to it by saying:

Quote:
"This is such a great site that I have been known to sneak into an internet café while out writing and check a fact rather than go into a bookshop and buy a copy of Harry Potter (which is embarrassing). A website for the dangerously obsessive; my natural home."*
4) In relation to the Harry Potter book six rumors, she responds to the rumors in the rumors section (where else? lol) with some rather funny responses:

Quote:
Rumor:

The next Harry Potter book is called Harry Potter and the Pillar of Storge.

Her answer:

I am trying very hard not to feel offended that anyone thought this possible. 'Storge' for crying out loud! Come on people, get a grip!
Quote:
Rumor:

Book six is called "The toenail of Icklibogg".

Her answer:

Well, if you believed the 'Storge' one...
5) Behind the infamous door, if you click the right sequence of bricks, you can find a Harry Potter book title which was once a considered title for "Chamber of Secrets". If you want to cheat and get the sequence go here. Whilst this was a possible title for book 2 people are speculating as to whether this could be the title to book six. Nothing in this area has been confirmed though. The title is as follows Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

UPDATE: BRICK WALL WALKTHROUGH
Dumbledore made this walkthrough that shows you step-by-step how to ge through the door.

Yea, I saw what was behind the door, not much. I was hoping there'd be more...but oh well.

if you've been to mugglenet, or perhaps you are very clever and figured this out for yourself, you can get behind the the brick wall! you have to find and click the bricks in a certain order, the order being 3-4-2-5-1 with the bricks from top to bottom. mugglenet has a picture to elaborate, which i am not going to do now! behind the wall there is a room. click on the fan and you will be treated with quite a surprise, although it is unknown whether this surprise is a trick, or thruth, it reveals a title which is possible for book six. this title was aso considered for book two, the chamber of secrets.

Earlier.. I got home, and went on her site. While I was checking it out, I noticed the door was open and I saw the brick wall, I accidently clicked a brick and when it sank - I was like, "I am such a genius". lol... turns out I'm not. :sorcerer:

It doesn't bother me that it was that easy to get the new title - as most people are saying "it can't be that easy", because she just released the title to book five. What does bother me is that a month ago, she said she wasn't even far enough along in her writing to not have to use that diagram thing she described, and now she's far enough to have a title? I think she's just leading us on...

The sign was already gone when I got there; all I had to do was to click on the door handle.

Actually the phone isn't irrelavant to this topic. If you'd read the title is says "J.K Rowling updates her site again!" Thus talking about her website, which includes the cellphone.
