| | |  J.K. Rowling to tour U.S. (UPDATED)
Do you live in Los Angeles, New Orleans or New York City? Well, J.K. Rowling will be coming to your town this fall! The "J.K. Rowling Book Tour" will make four stops in the U.S. this October, three of which are only open to schoolchildren.
Scholastic will run a contest to win tickets starting July 30 on their website and in September they will select the winning schools that will get to send students whose names are pulled out of a Sorting Hat.
At the events, Jo will sign books, answer questions and do a reading from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Below are the dates and locations for the four events. Quote:
Monday, Oct. 15 – Los Angeles Kodak Theater
Thursday, Oct. 18 – Ernest N. Morial Auditorian at the Convention Center in New Orleans
Friday, Oct. 19 – New York’s Carnegie Hall
Friday, Oct. 19 – New York’s Carnegie Hall (7 p.m., open to adults)
