J.K. Rowling has teamed up with Mattel's Barbie I can be contest, where young girls ages 6-14 (as of March 1, 2010), could get the chance to shadow the Harry Potter author for a day.

After spending a day in the life with these fabulous women leaders, the girls will be asked to report back with photos, videos and a short written essay to share their experiences so girls everywhere can be inspired.

Parents must submit their daughters name into the competition (they cannot do it without permission), which ends March 22nd. More information can be found here; good luck to all the girls participating!

Haha, that would so amazingly epic it's unverbaliseable. Whoever wins is quite possibly the luckiest person in the entire world.
(man, wish I was 14, I'd kill to do that! (but not really...I don't think))

omfg awesome!! that's really nice of her. it's cool, but i wouldn't enter something like that. shadow some random person. it's harder, but waaaay more fun >.<
