Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will be promoting the upcoming release of her first book for adults, The Casual Vacancy , at Scotland's Lennoxlove Book Festival on Friday 2nd November. Tickets for the festival in the town of Haddington, Lothian are set to go on sale for priority Friends of Lennoxlove Book Festival on September 11, and general sales September 13, 2012. This is the third confirmed guest talk Rowling will be doing in the UK - and only one in Scotland - to promote The Casual Vacancy.

Tickets for the J.K. Rowling event will be limited to two tickets per Friend, and tickets for all other events limited to a maximum of six per Friend. Friends Membership for 2012 is available from today, Thursday 6th September, by phoning the box office on 6th, 7th and 10th September. There will be a limit to the number of Friends memberships available. The Box Office will open to Friends on 11th September, and then to the general public on 13th September. The Box Office opening hours are 10.00am – 5.00pm weekdays.
