| | |  J.K. Rowling to be honoured by President Sarkozy
This Tuesday (tomorrow), J.K. Rowling will be honoured by President Nicolas Sarkozy, of France, with the Legion of Honor (Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur), the highest accolade given by the country. The award comes in five levels; Chevalier (Knight), Officier (Officer), Commandeur (Commander), Grand Officier (Grand Officer) and Grand-Croix (Grand Cross). We will have coverage of it when it is made available.

Wow, that's fantastic news. Jo really deserves this. I wonder when the US will give her the Congressional Medal of Honor? Is that honor appropriate to someone like Jo, who has brought fun into reading for millions and millions of American's? I think so. May be she's too young? Oh well.
