Post J.K. Rowling teases advanced 'Fantastic Beasts' screenplay book, BBC charity sketch

The BBC announced that Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander participated in a sketch for this year's charity Children in Need Appeal Show show, set to air on the opening day of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Friday, November 18th at 7.30pm on BBC One in the U.K. The actor

Quote:
The sketch was recorded on the set of Eddie’s new film, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them and will see the much loved actor doing his bit to raise money for Children in Need. It will feature other special cameos from the world of showbiz and will air on the BBC Children in Need Appeal Show on Friday 18 November, 7.30pm on BBC One.

Eddie Redmayne says: “I have such fond memories of Children in Need - growing up, I loved watching all the special sketches and performances, and of course, Sir Terry Wogan’s inimitable presenting. It is a charity very close to my heart so you can only imagine how chuffed I was to be asked to do a special sketch for this year. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have in store.”
One lucky fan got their hands on one of the 3,000 limited-print copies of the interactive December issue of Empire magazine, featuring American Wizarding newspaper The New York Ghost and new clips from Fantastic Beasts, and recorded the new footage from it.

The videos are an extended version of the IMAX featurette earlier in the month, and include the first on-set interviews with costars Jon Voight (Henry Shaw Sr.) and Carmen Ejogo (Seraphina Picquery), as well as new comments from Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, director David Yates and screenwriter J.K. Rowling about Grindelwald and the Second Salemers. That can be watched below.

The Empire issue is available at Sainsbury's shops in the UK only.

Finally, as a fun teaser, J.K. Rowling showed off her advanced copy of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them original screenplay, which is available for purchase worldwide on November 18, 2016.
