Four extra clips from J.K. Rowling's interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show have been uploaded on the talk show host's website. In them, Jo talks about having read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to her son for the first time, Googling herself for the first time after becoming a huge success, the bright side in receiving so many early rejection letters, and a young fan who touched her heart. I choked up when J.K. Rowling read Mattie Stepanek's letter. He was such an inspiring person with his wonderful messages of peace and his beautiful poetry. It’s heartbreaking to know that he had to die before the Harry Potter series was finished off, but I’m sure his death brought more light to the world for his cause.

Mattie Stepanek is from my hometown. We have a football field here in MD named after him. He was def an inspiration...it is very sad that he didnt get to see HP completed. I haven't seen the interview yet (DVRed) but will watch it later.

but the interview was so amazing !! it is so adorable how Jo uses HP vocab when talking about regular things.. when she mentioned someone coming up to her in the streets and she said "it was like she apperated right in front of me".. so cute !!
if my vote counts Jo i would love to see you write more HP books !
